Create a livestream

This guide provides you the instructions to create a livestream from the Livepeer Studio Dashboard or the Livepeer API.

The Livepeer Studio Dashboard is a frontend interface for publishing live or on-demand video streams with no code. In this guide, we'll show you how to use the dashboard to create a livestream.

Step 1: Navigate to the Streams page​

Step 2: Create a new livestream​

Create a new asset by clicking create stream.

Step 3: View your stream​

After creating your new stream, you can now view its configuration and usage information. You can also create multistream targets, sessions, monitor health, enable recording, suspend the stream and delete the stream.
